Axminister hub to close

After nearly 5 years of saving supermarket food from being thrown away, SAVE food hub Axminster, based at The Community Waffle House, is closing.

Over the last 12 months, the volume of waste food has dramatically dropped. This, along with the closure of the South Street Coop, has resulted in us making this decision.  SAVE food hub Axminster has been superbly supported by a whole host of volunteers over the years, as well as the generosity of Waffle House and their staff. The last collection will be Thursday 17th July.

We thank everybody for making this a huge success over the years.
