Closure of Sidmouth hub.

It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of our Sidmouth hub.

Unfortunately, we have lost our food supply in Sidmouth and are therefore no longer able to provide food through the hub.

The Sidmouth hub first opened in September 2020, initially operating from a volunteer's home. In October 2020, it moved to the Dissenters Chapel in Sidmouth, where it remained for several years, before relocating to Sidmouth Methodist Church in October 2024.

During its time in Sidmouth, the hub also partnered with Sidmouth Voluntary Services to run a pop-up Community Larder at their centre, helping to make surplus food available to even more local people.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers who have given their time, energy and commitment to the Sidmouth hub over the years. Their dedication has made a real difference to the local community.

In particular, we would like to thank Rich Allen, who established the Sidmouth hub and has led it with unwavering commitment over the past six years. His hard work, passion and dedication have been instrumental in the hub's success and have benefited countless people in the community.

While we are saddened to see the Sidmouth hub close, we are incredibly proud of everything it has achieved since 2020 and of the difference it has made to the local community. We are grateful to everyone who has supported the hub throughout its journey.
